How it works

Five steps from sign-up to exam day.

Most IELTS prep is reading textbooks and crossing your fingers. We run you through a structured loop: diagnose, drill, grade, adapt, repeat — until your band is locked in.

In short

IELTS Nation works in 5 steps: (1) two-minute onboarding sets your target band and exam date, (2) a placement test on day 1–2 builds an objective baseline, (3) a daily session of warm-up + main practice + cool-down adapts to your weak skills, (4) AI grades your Writing and Speaking against the official IELTS band descriptors with per-criterion feedback, (5) by exam day your projected band has stabilized within ±0.5 of a real examiner.

01

Tell us your target

Two-minute onboarding — current band, goal, exam date, weak skills. We use this to project a realistic band lift and pick the right plan template (sprint, crash, standard, or long).

02

Take your placement test

Day 1–2 of every plan starts with diagnostic mocks — Reading and Listening for an objective baseline, Writing and Speaking for AI-graded benchmarks. The plan adapts from here.

03

Follow a daily session

Every study day has three parts: a 10-min warm-up (vocab or yesterday's mistakes), a main practice (full mock section or focused drill), and a 10-min cool-down (flashcards). Built around your weak skills.

04

Get AI feedback that matches the rubric

Submit a Writing essay or a Speaking recording — Gemini grades it against the official IELTS band descriptors. You see per-criterion scores, specific fixes, vocabulary upgrades, and grammar corrections.

05

Walk into exam day knowing your band

By exam day you've taken full mocks, fixed the patterns the AI found, and your projected band has stabilized. Most students hit within 0.5 of their predicted score.

Why it works better than free tools alone

The whole product is built around three things free tools don't give you.

Built around the official rubric, not generic ones

Every drill, every grading prompt, every feedback line maps to the four IELTS criteria. Nothing generic-edtech.

AI grading that calibrates to real examiners

The Writing and Speaking graders use reference essays scored by real IELTS examiners as anchors. The AI matches their judgement, not its own.
